Authors may send the manuscript of these topics in English or Bahasa Indonesia. The journal focuses on the intricate connections between language and culture, exploring how language is a foundation for cultural identity, communication, and social learning. It highlights the role of language in shaping and reflecting cultural distinctions, transmitting cultural values, and influencing human behavior. Topics include cultural linguistics, which investigates the interplay between language, culture, and cognition, as well as the impact of language on cultural change and second language acquisition. Additionally, the journal addresses the role of language teaching in formal education and the significance of communication within various cultural and artistic disciplines, such as fine arts, visual communication, and graphic design.


Since June 2024, the peer-reviewed International Journal of Linguistics, Culture, and Communication (JOLCC) indexed in ICI Copernicus Index, Dimensions, & Crossref, E-ISSN: 2988-1641 charges a manuscript publication fee to cover the cost of open access publishing. If a paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publication costs. These costs include paper management, peer review, editing, formatting, marketing, indexing, production, hosting on various servers, website maintenance, electricity, internet, staff salaries, and DOI numbers. Therefore, to help with all the administrative costs, contributors whose articles are published will be asked to contribute a Regular Publication Fee or Article Processing Charge (APC) with a minimum amount of IDR 300.000,- for Indonesian and 35 USD for Foreigners.

Fast Track: 900.000 (IDR)/ 65 (USD)
This is available for authors who want a quick publication process. With the payment of this fee, the review, editorial decision, and author notification on this manuscript are guaranteed to take place within 6-7 weeks. This payment includes publication fees.

Steps for the fast-track review process:

1. Submit your full manuscript to the journal's website.
2. Initial screening will be conducted to assess the quality of the manuscript.
3. If the manuscript is out of scope or low quality, it will be rejected. However, if the manuscript shows potential for future publication, there will be two options: Fast Track or Regular Track.
4. If you choose Fast Track, you can have 2 to 3 rounds of revisions after the initial review.
